One of the first 'superpubs' in Dublin. Oversized urns, monstrous palm trees and huge gilt mirrors assault the senses as you walk around this multi-level den of 'up its own arsendess'. Clientèle is even more insufferable than those found next door in Ron Blacks. If you are into paying over the odds for your drink and you enjoy being pawed by middle-aged men in suits then this is the place for you.

My girlfriend was in here recently and told me about the 6.50 price tag for a pint. I couldn't believe it! Back in my day you'd get 3 pints for that!
